Overview
In this role at the Milan Design Center, you will shape MEMS structures for consumer electronics by modeling mechanical and electrical behavior to meet customer requirements. You will run model-based simulations focused on gyroscopes and drive design optimization with new algorithms. You’ll operate within a cross-functional engineering team, coordinating design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development. Responsabilità
- Design the mechanical and electrical behavior of new MEMS structures based on customer requirements
- Perform model-based simulations to optimize MEMS structures with emphasis on gyroscopes
- Develop algorithms for design optimization and improve simulation methods
- Collaborate in a cross-functional engineering team and analyze cause-and-effect in designs
- Coordinate design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Fluent English (minimum B2); German a plus
- Proficient coder with experience in MATLAB and Python
- Experience with finite element methods and simulation tools; Simulink skills preferred
- 3–5 years in MEMS design and model development for inertial MEMS sensors (FEM, Matlab)
- Experience in cross-functional teams (ASIC, package) and conducting lab experiments
- Autonomous, structured approach to concept development and simulations; strong presentation skills
