Overview
In this role you drive the hotel’s commercial success by identifying and securing group business for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing, proposals, and client experiences, reinforcing The St. Regis Venice as a premier luxury MICE destination. You’ll cultivate global relationships, lead the full sales cycle, and contribute to revenue growth through strategic account management and expert local destination knowledge.

- Identifying, developing, and managing group opportunities for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share in the group segment
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing and post-sale follow-up
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, event planners, travel agencies, DMCs, and key accounts
- Preparing tailored proposals, contracts, and presentations
- Conducting site inspections and sales appointments to showcase facilities




- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to enhance performance
- Collaborating with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and availability
- Coordinating with Events, Operations, and Catering to ensure flawless event execution
- Maintaining accurate client, pipeline, and contract data in Marriott sales systems
- Reporting on sales, forecasts, and performance to leadership
- Ensuring compliance with Marriott International sales standards
- Contributing to achievement of revenue and production goals
- Providing expertise on local destination to support selling efforts
- Verifying e-channels/websites have up-to-date property details
- Supporting sales initiatives as directed by GM or leadership
- Delivering service excellence to drive customer loyalty
