Valmont Solar is looking for a proactive and motivated Business Developer Specialist to support the growth of our photovoltaic tracking systems business.
The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, enjoys building relationships, and is comfortable engaging with customers and prospects to identify new business opportunities.
We are looking for someone who is naturally outgoing, curious, and comfortable approaching new people, with the confidence to open doors, create connections, and help generate new business opportunities.
Essential Functions Collaborate with the sales team to support business development initiatives and customer engagement activities.
Present products and services, understand customer needs.
Support the identification of new business opportunities and the development of the customer portfolio.
Proactively approach potential customers and generate new leads through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders.




Attend industry trade shows, conventions, and customer events, representing the company professionally and expanding business contacts.
Analyze customer needs and align them with product offerings, supporting proposal development in connection with Sales dpt.
Conduct market research and help identify emerging trends and opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
3+ previous business development & commercial experience is required, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to engage with new customers and create business opportunities.
Confidence in approaching new contacts and initiating professional conversations.
