And good news, they are expanding their Italian operations and seeking talented Solar Field Technicians to join their team.Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Solar field technicians to join our client’s growing team in Italy. This role involves hands‑on technical work at solar farm installations, ensuring optimal performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of photovoltaic systems.LocationsWe are recruiting for solar farm sites in the following regions: Piedmont, Torino, Alessandria, Asti, Novara, Cuneo, Vercelli, Biella, Verbania. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to one of these regions.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & CommissioningInstall, commission, and test solar PV systems at utility‑scale solar farmsConnect solar panels, inverters,



and electrical components according to technical specificationsPerform system integration and grid connection proceduresConduct pre‑commissioning inspections and quality checksMaintenance & OperationsCarry out preventive and corrective maintenance on solar installationsDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in PV systemsMonitor system performance and identify areas for optimizationReplace faulty components including panels, inverters, cables, and junction boxesSafety & ComplianceAdhere to all health and safety regulations on‑siteConduct risk assessments and implement safety protocolsEnsure compliance with Italian electrical standards and regulationsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and site visitsTechnical SupportProvide technical support to the operations teamCollaborate with engineers and project managers on system improvementsReport technical issues and recommend solutionsSupport commissioning activities for new installationsTechnical QualificationsElectrical qualification or equivalent technical certificationProven experience working on solar PV systems (minimum 2-3 years preferred)Knowledge of solar inverters, transformers, and electrical distribution systemsUnderstanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systemsFamiliarity with solar farm operations and maintenance proceduresLanguage SkillsFluent Italian (essential for daily operations and client communication)English proficiency (desirable for technical documentation)Location & MobilityMust be based in the Piedmont regionValid Italian or EU driving license (essential for site visits)Willingness to travel between solar farm sites within the regionFlexibility for occasional overnight stays when working at remote locationsProximity to solar farm installations is highly advantageousPersonal AttributesStrong problem‑solving skills and technical aptitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and quality‑focused mindsetAbility to work effectively in an international team environmentProactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvementDesirable SkillsExperience with SCADA systems and remote monitoring platformsKnowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS)18th Edition Wiring Regulations or Italian equivalent (CEI standards)Experience working on utility‑scale solar farms (MW‑scale projects)Health & Safety certifications relevant to electrical workExperience with thermal imaging and diagnostic equipmentPES/Electrical qualificationsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary up to €30,000 - €35,000 (commensurate with experience)Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge renewable energy projects across Northern ItalyProfessional development and training opportunitiesSupportive international team environment with ISO‑certified company standardsCareer progression within a dynamically growing renewable energy companyInvolvement in Italy’s energy transition and sustainability goalsCompany vehicle or travel allowance (for site visits)Work with award‑winning asset management software and technologiesEqual OpportunitiesOur client is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of background.#J-18808-Ljbffr
