For our Lugano office, we are seeking a talented and experienced **Senior Cloud Engineer** with strong hands-on expertise in implementing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**, with a strong focus on **Terraform, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Python/Bash/Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, platform security, and Agile collaboration with internal and external engineering teams**.



**Roles and Responsibilities** * Manage and automate cloud infrastructure **on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** using **Terraform**. * Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workloads on **Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)**. * Develop automation scripts with **Python, Bash, and Ansible**. * Build and support **CI/CD** pipelines and deployment processes. * Manage **GCP IAM, security policies, certificates, and secrets**. * Monitor platform performance, resolve incidents, and perform root-cause analysis. * Collaborate within **Agile/Scrum** teams and contribute to Git-based development workflows. **Qualifications and Technical Skills** **Required** * 5+ years of experience in **Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering**. * Strong expertise in **GCP** (GKE, IAM, VPC, Compute Engine). * Proven experience with **Terraform**, **Git**, **Docker**, and **Kubernetes**. * Strong scripting skills in **Python** and **Bash**. * Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments**. **Preferred** * Experience with **Jenkins** and **Ansible**. * Exposure to **Microsoft Azure**. * Knowledge of **Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana**. * Experience in **banking, financial services, or other regulated industries**. **Location Requirement** * We do not offer a fully remote work policy * Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese etc.) * Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy If interested, please **apply here**!
