The Sanitation Supervisor is to assist the plant in complying with all SQF sanitation requirements, the primary function of Superintendent II is to manage the staff that has been assigned to the dept. Supervises and monitor all in-house sanitation cleaning of all production machinery and equipment. Creates and monitors cleaning schedule for food contact equipment, such as fryers, fryer exhaust, and service tanks.

Maintains and cleans all inside building overhead pipes, camera mounts, handrails and equipment canopies. Conducts training of sanitation staff to ensure that training meets GMP, HACCP and SQF guidelines. Upholds the safety rules in effect and reports the safety rules, which cannot be enforced due to the current plant conditions The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat.

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or ~2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ~ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures, machinery, and production conditions ~ Must understand units that are used in the plant, gallons, litters, inches, meters, kilograms and pounds and others.
