As a Regional Account Manager for the Public Sector, you drive cybersecurity transformation for government-related clients. You will build executive relationships, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and promote Fortinet solutions to achieve growth while ensuring customer success. You’ll navigate regulatory considerations across Italy and Europe and lead proposals and RFI/RFP responses.

Responsabilità
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets
- Drive adoption of Fortinet products and services within assigned public sector accounts
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and partners in public administration
- Coordinate internal teams to deliver proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices aligned with Italian and European regulations
- Serve as lead contact for information flow to and from executive management
- Maximize opportunities while delivering value-added solutions to public sector customers
- Maintain accurate pipeline and sales forecast
- Collaborate with partner channel managers, technical sales engineers, and consulting professionals
- Travel within territory as required to pursue opportunities
Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven experience in technology sales, preferably cybersecurity or networking
- Experience selling to public administration customers (education, healthcare, local government)
- Strong knowledge of IT security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, IDS/IPS)
- Track record of achieving quota and career stability
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilities
