Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners of the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme), along with British BAE Systems and Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, aimed at developing and implementing a new-generation aerial system, defined as a “system of systems.” Employed for multi-domain operations in the defense sector, the system will feature a “core platform” connected with other peripheral “adjuncts” systems, both piloted and unpiloted. Within the Digital Systems & Engineering Technologies area of the Cyber Division, we are looking for a PLM Digital Manufacturing Senior Expert for one of our offices in Rome, Turin, and Milan Nerviano.
The figure in question will operate within an international project with particular responsibility for the Digital Manufacturing area:
- Ability to analyze and formalize business requirements for the development and use of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in the context of industrial engineering/digital manufacturing for the definition of MBOM, Cycles, Work Instructions, changes, etc.
- Knowledge of design and production flows in the aeronautical sector
- Coordination of activities, nationally and internationally, to meet the defined requirements, following the different phases of the program
- Interpretive and abstractive ability with respect to the different technical approaches required by the teams participating in the program
- Technical skills and knowledge to follow and evaluate changes to the program's PLM within its scope
- Planning and drafting of business cases
- Problem solving (if possible, also in an international context)
Requirements:
Education:
Degree in one of the STEM disciplines, preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
Seniority:
Senior (>5 years)
Technical knowledge and skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Business processes in Engineering and Manufacturing
- Excellent knowledge of market PLM solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Siemens solutions (Teamcenter, NX, Easyplanner, etc.)
- Knowledge of AGILE methodologies applied to the development of PLM capabilities
- Ability to analyze Business processes
- Ability to define technical/functional requirements for system implementation
- Project Management skills
