About the role

We are seeking a proactive and creative PR Specialist to strengthen the visibility, reputation, and media presence of Chery Italy.

Reporting to the PR Manager, this role will be contribute to the development and execution of PR activities, managing relationships with media and key stakeholders, supporting product launches and corporate events, and ensuring consistent communication aligned with brand objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong media relations expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute PR strategies that support corporate, brand, and product communication objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, speeches, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate media events, press conferences, product launches, test-drive activities, and corporate events.
- Manage media inquiries and act as a key contact for press-related activities.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR performance reports and press reviews.
- Collaborate with Brand, Digital, Social Media, Product, and Sales teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Support crisis communication activities and reputation management initiatives when required.
- Identify opportunities to enhance brand awareness and strengthen the company's public image.
- Monitor automotive industry trends, competitor activities, and media landscape developments.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in PR/media relations,



preferably in the automotive industry or in a PR agency with automotive clients
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Established network of media contacts is highly desirable.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with media monitoring and PR tools is a plus.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

RAL from 32.000 EUR Gross based on the experience skills, and qualications of the selected candidate.
