The resources who will work within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.

Within the Simulation, Ground Support Equipment & Training System Area, we are looking for a Ground Support Systems Data Scientist for our Turin site.

The resource will mainly be responsible for:

- Definition of the design and architecture of the product SW starting from functional requirements, maintaining traceability with System requirements
- Definition of SW requirements by allocating directives for the drafting of SW Requirements Specifications (SRS) for ground systems for manned/unmanned platforms
- Definition and optimization of SW Design and Coding environments in collaboration with specialists and system administrators (Client vs. Server resource allocation, license management), maintenance and updating of the SW product Toolchain
- SW development with direct and autonomous generation of source code and definition of development directives for other developers
- Definition of SW test strategies with progressive extensive use of automated testing tools starting from traditional methodologies
- Define Statements of Work for external SW development where applicable and integrate third-party SW parts
- Conducting SW Tests, periodic progress reporting, critical issues, proposals for recovery actions
- Setting up SW projects with programming languages and tools (such as Python or TensorFlow).

Specifically in the context of AI and innovative technologies in the Data Scientist context, it is required to:

- Define and implement the best solutions for data collection and cleaning
- Define processes and solutions for creating and training models.
- Define integration and control processes (performance, quality)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI solutions in Mission Planning, Mission post-flight Analysis contexts.

Educational Qualification:

- Master's degree in Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering / Artificial Intelligence

Required Experience Level:





- Junior with basic experience
- 1-2 years of experience in SW development, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

Technical/IT Skills:

- SW development based on .NET technology
- Knowledge of C#, C++ language
- Language: Python
- Libraries: Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, Plotly, PyTorch
- Tools: Git, VSCode, dedicated automotive software (MDA, INCA)
- Skills in interfacing with main DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Ability to analyze SW performance relative to available HW resources
- Development of applications based on web and on-premise architectures
- Microsoft Operating Systems skills
- Skills related to the automation of SW test procedures

NICE TO HAVE:

- Knowledge of applicable design and certification standards (AQAP, MIL, FAA, EASA)
- Knowledge of avionics systems and application of functionalities to govern mission planning
- Skills in distributed computing and managing robust clustering on large datasets.
- Knowledge of project engineering aspects
- Knowledge of SQL languages
