Role Description The Head Bartender is responsible for overseeing bar operations, ensuring an excellent guest experience, and maintaining high standards of beverage service. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and serving drinks, supervising bar staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. The role also involves training team members, coordinating with the Food & Beverage department, handling guest inquiries and feedback, and supporting cash and stock controls.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at Delta Hotels Marriott Giardini Naxos in Giardini-Naxos,



requiring flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating welcoming, memorable guest experiences.
- Effective Communication abilities for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests.
- Proficiency in Food & Beverage operations, including knowledge of cocktails, wines, and bar menus.
- Demonstrated Bartending expertise, including drink preparation, presentation, and bar equipment handling.
- Accurate Cash Handling skills, with experience in operating POS systems and reconciling daily takings.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead bartender role within a hotel or upscale bar environment.
- Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in bar and restaurant settings.
- Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule; knowledge of Italian and English is highly beneficial.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and strong organizational skills; formal hospitality training is a plus.
