Bocconi University is accelerating its evolution towards a data-driven and AI-enabled organization, in line with the priorities of its 2030 Strategic Plan.

To support this transformation, we are launching a dedicated edition of the BuildUP Graduate Program focused on innovation, AI & data skills and their application within business contexts.

Program Structure The program lasts approximately 18 months and is designed as a progressive learning and development journey:

- An initial Bootcamp focused on the higher education sector, AI & data governance, key organizational processes and digital transformation
- Three job rotations of approximately six months each across different Business Units

The program is designed to help you build a hybrid profile at the intersection of business, data and innovation. You will gradually gain 360° exposure to how the organization operates, developing an understanding of business priorities, processes and stakeholder needs, while also gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, AI use cases, digital tools and innovation initiatives.

What Will You Do

Participants will be fully embedded within different Business Units, with the objective of understanding how the organization operates and contributing to the development of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.

From the very beginning, you will:

- Understand business priorities, organizational processes and stakeholder needs across different areas of the University
- Work on real projects combining innovation, AI, data and business transformation
- Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions that improve processes, services and decision-making
- Support teams in leveraging data and digital tools to address operational and strategic challenges
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable initiatives
- Progressively become an active contributor to cross-functional projects, with increasing responsibility and impact

Who Are We Looking For We are looking for high-potential junior profiles with:

- A Master’s degree - or expected graduation - in Business, Economics, Management,



Digital Transformation, Innovation, Data & AI or related fields
- At least six months of study or work experience outside Italy
- Academic, project-based or extracurricular experience related to AI, data, analytics, innovation or digital transformation
- Previous internship or work experience in analytical, digital, innovation or project-based environments, considered a plus
- An analytical mindset and an interest in using data to support decision-making and solve business challenges
- Familiarity with Excel, data visualization tools or reporting concepts
- An interest in AI technologies and their application within business and organizational contexts
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python or other programming languages, is considered a plus
- Curiosity and a strong interest in innovation, AI and digital transformation
- Strong problem-solving skills, learning agility and adaptability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, both in Italian and in English
- A proactive mindset, a sense of ownership and a willingness to work in cross-functional and project-based environments

The final compensation package will be defined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications and overall professional background, in line with the University’s fair, transparent and non-discriminatory compensation principles.

Recruiting Process and Timeline

Applications will close on 2 October 2026.

The selection process will take place during October and will include:

- A pre-recorded video interview, to be completed between 2 and 6 October 2026
- An aptitude test
- A technical assessment, to be presented and discussed during an interview
- A final behavioral and motivational assessment
