Experteer Overview In this role you will lead trading, market making and risk management for Emerging Markets hard currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign bonds, with a focus on USD and EUR. You will partner with Sales and global Trading teams to develop the EM franchise, manage positions, and provide competitive pricing. The role blends front-office trading with risk oversight in a dynamic, cross-regional environment.

You will drive strategies, optimize liquidity, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Manage market, credit and liquidity risks within risk framework and limits

Provide competitive pricing and liquidity in EM perimeter

Balance client flows, opportunities and risk-reward for positions

Develop relative-value, directional and hedging strategies across EM credit markets

Collaborate with Sales to share market views and trade ideas

Identify opportunities to expand client activity and coverage in EM

Coordinate with other desks/hubs to optimize risk, liquidity, and coverage

Contribute senior market expertise to strategic development of EM trading franchise

Ensure trading activities comply with internal policies, risk limits and regulatory requirements





Responsabilità 5–10 years of EM hard currency bond trading experience

Extensive sovereign and quasi-sovereign credit experience with P/L and risk management responsibility

Strong USD and EUR EM debt knowledge

Experience across LatAm, CEE, Middle East & Africa and/or Asia

Ability to manage sizeable positions and varying market conditions

Proven opportunity identification and business development skills

Frontend trading, pricing, risk-management and position-keeping systems experience

Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitative discipline

Strong sovereign credit analysis, macro fundamentals, debt sustainability and geopolitical risk

Knowledge of credit spreads, yield curves, relative-value analysis and FI risk metrics

Understanding of EM hedging instruments (government bonds, IR/FX/credit derivatives)

Excellent risk-management and decision-making abilities

Fluency in English
