We’re looking for passionate individuals eager to help grow our RD department while upholding our core values of beauty, ethics, and sustainability. /p pAs our RD Packaging Specialist, you will Contribute to the development, validation and industrialization of innovative, functional, sustainable and compliant packaging solutions across the full development lifecycle: from material and supplier scouting to laboratory testing, industrial trials, technical documentation and launch support. /p h3Sustainability and Compliance /h3 ul liEmbed design-for-recycling, recyclability, weight reduction, reuse and recycled-content criteria into packaging development. /li liSupport the collection and verification of supplier data and declarations relevant to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), material composition, component weights, restricted substances and declarations of conformity. /li liPartner with Sustainability, Regulatory and Quality teams to assess applicable requirements and operational impacts on projects. /li /ul h3Suppliers, Quality and Industrialization /h3 ul liManage technical interactions with suppliers and contract manufacturers, including briefs, feasibility, sample requests, specifications, drawings, control plans, protocols, lead times and issue resolution. /li liSupport technical supplier qualification and audits by reviewing the completeness and suitability of supplier documentation. /li liContribute to deviations, non-conformities, concessions, change control and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) by providing technical assessments and risk analysis. /li liCollaborate with Manufacturing, Industrialization,
Procurement and Quality to ensure solution robustness, scalability and continuity. /li /ul h3Documentation and Project Management /h3 ul liCreate and maintain technical specifications, packaging instructions, protocols, operating instructions and reports in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality-system requirements. /li liManage document review and approval workflows, ensuring accuracy, version control and traceability. /li liPlan packaging workstream activities, dependencies and deliverables in company systems, escalating risks, delays and decisions promptly. /li liWork in cross-functional teams with Marketing, Formula Research and Development (RD), Project Management Office (PMO), Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Sustainability, Manufacturing and external partners. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liDegree or technical-scientific qualification in Packaging, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline. /li liAt least 5 years of packaging development experience, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, food or consumer goods. /li liKnowledge of materials and conversion processes for plastics, glass, aluminium, paper and board, and multilayer structures. /li liExperience planning and documenting laboratory tests and industrial trials. /li liFamiliarity with technical specifications, drawings, tolerances, Acceptable Quality Level (AQL), control plans, risk assessment and non-conformity management. /li liGood command of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel; familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Project Management (EPM), Jira (Project and Issue Tracking Software) or equivalent tools is an advantage. /li liProfessional proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. /li liAnalytical mindset and strong attention to detail. /li liAbility to organize priorities, samples, data and deadlines across multiple projects. /li liPractical problem solving and delivery focus. /li liClear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liCuriosity,
