ppWithin the Finance department, we are looking for an bAccounting Specialist /b with the aim of strengthening the oversight of the SGR’s administrative and accounting activities, with a particular focus on the accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of processes, including within Group reporting flows. /p pKey responsibilities of the role will include: /p ul liOversight of the SGR’s accounts payable cycle and support to the accounts receivable cycle of the SGR, the GPs and the funds, where applicable; /li liSupervision of general accounting and correct accounting allocation of transactions; /li liCoordination of payment processes and supplier management, ensuring adequate operational controls; /li liMonitoring of accounting and bank reconciliations; /li liSupport and coordination of periodic accounting closings; /li liLiaison with administrative outsourcers, the Tax function and other stakeholders; /li liSupport in overseeing tax compliance requirements, in coordination with Tax and outsourcers; /li liContribution to strengthening internal controls and reducing operational risk; /li liParticipation in the definition and optimization of accounting processes. /li /ul pMain tasks of the role will include: /p ul liManagement of supplier invoices: verification, accounting registration, and filing; /li liPreparation and recording of accounting entries; /li liOperational management of payment instructions and related controls; /li liExecution of bank and accounting reconciliations and analysis of differences; /li liSupport for accounting closing activities, including accruals, deferrals,
and adjustment entries; /li liMonitoring of supplier payment schedules; /li liSupport in preparing data for financial statements and reporting; /li liOperational liaison with outsourcers and the Tax function for accounting and tax data; /li liVerification of the correct VAT treatment of transactions; /li liContribution to updating administrative procedures; /li liIdentification of process efficiency improvement opportunities. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pSignificant experience in similar roles, ideally 8–10 years, within SGRs, supervised intermediaries, or financial companies; /p h3Experience in: /h3 ul liAccounts payable cycle and general accounting; /li liAccounting closing processes; /li liInteraction with outsourcers; /li liTechnical skills; /li liIAS/IFRS accounting principles applicable to SGRs; /li liGood understanding of Italian accounting principles (OIC) for operational and tax purposes; /li liTax regulations, with a focus on VAT; /li liReporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint). /li /ul h3Soft Skills: /h3 ul liAbility to work in a team and manage complex projects; /li liAttention to detail, problem solving, and effective communication; /li liExcellent written and verbal knowledge of English; other languages are a plus. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pWe offer employment at the Manager level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement. /p pGross annual salary ranging between 60K€ and 70K€, plus Variable compensation.
