About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

JD.com is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to drive significant improvements in logistics quality, directly impacting the company's profit and loss (P&L;) statement.



This role will focus on optimizing logistics processes, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction within our expansive supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze current logistics operations, identifying key pain points, inefficiencies, and cost drivers across warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives and process improvements to enhance logistics quality, such as reducing damage rates, improving delivery accuracy, and accelerating delivery times.
- Quantify the financial impact of logistics quality improvements, including cost savings, revenue enhancement, and improved customer retention, and report regularly on P&L; contributions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, product, and technology teams to integrate quality improvements seamlessly into existing systems and workflows.
- Utilize data analytics and statistical methods to monitor logistics performance, identify trends, and predict potential quality issues, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at adopting new logistics technologies, automation, and best practices to drive efficiency and quality.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics quality, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and P&L; targets.
- Develop and deliver training programs for logistics personnel to ensure consistent application of quality standards and processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for logistics failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.




- Benchmark JD.com's logistics quality against industry leaders and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations, with a strong focus on quality improvement and P&L; impact.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, implementing, and managing initiatives that result in significant cost reductions and operational efficiencies within a complex logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and present findings clearly to various stakeholders, including senior management.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and influence change.
- Familiarity with e-commerce logistics, warehousing operations, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
