We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our Operations Test Engineering team and contribute to the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing test solutions for high-power AC/DC and DC/DC conversion systems used in EV charging products. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer at the beginning of their career who is passionate about power electronics, test automation, and manufacturing technologies. You will work closely with experienced engineers across power electronics, firmware, manufacturing, quality, compliance, and supplier teams, gaining hands-on exposure to the full manufacturing test lifecycle, from prototype development to mass production. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the development and implementation of automated manufacturing test methods for AC/DC and DC/DC converter stages, ensuring reliable verification of electrical performance, safety, isolation, efficiency, thermal behavior, protection functions, calibration data, and communication interfaces. /li liContribute to the definition of manufacturing test coverage for power modules and converter systems, ensuring compliance with product, quality, safety, and production requirements. /li liParticipate in the full manufacturing-test lifecycle, supporting activities from early prototypes and engineering builds through pilot production, process qualification, ramp-up, mass-production release, production monitoring, and continuous improvement. /li liHelp translate converter specifications, electrical architectures, manufacturing requirements, safety constraints, and engineering changes into effective and production-ready test strategies. /li liSupport the definition, automation, deployment, and industrialization of production test equipment, fixtures, and test benches, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. /li liContribute to the creation and maintenance of traceability documentation by linking requirements, test specifications, measurement limits, calibration records, production logs, failure codes, release criteria, and quality metrics. /li liInvestigate and analyze manufacturing test failures, supporting root-cause analysis activities to distinguish between design, firmware, component,



thermal, fixture, or process-related issues and helping drive corrective actions based on data. /li liCollaborate with power electronics, firmware, manufacturing, quality, field service, compliance teams, external laboratories, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain high standards for converter testing. /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing first-pass yield, improving test repeatability, reducing cycle time, strengthening defect containment, and enhancing overall manufacturing test effectiveness. /li /ul h3Your Background /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field. /li liUp to 3 years of experience gained through professional roles, internships, thesis projects, research activities, university projects, laboratory work, or similar exposure in power electronics, electrical testing, industrial test equipment, laboratory validation, or production test automation. /li liBasic understanding of AC/DC and DC/DC converter principles, including rectification, power factor correction, isolated conversion, regulation, switching behavior, efficiency, ripple, thermal management, and protection functions. /li liStrong interest in manufacturing test engineering, production automation, quality improvement, first-pass yield optimization, and industrialization activities from prototype to volume production. /li liHands-on familiarity with electrical instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, power analyzers, current probes, thermal sensors, and data acquisition systems. /li liKnowledge of at least one automation or programming environment such as Python, C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, or similar tools. /li liAbility to read electrical schematics, understand test-bench architectures, follow wiring diagrams, and support the integration of instrumentation, cooling systems, contactors, fixtures, and data-logging solutions. /li liFamiliarity with structured documentation, test procedures,



measurement records, issue tracking, version control practices, and traceability between requirements, tests, limits, and results. /li liStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, adaptability, attention to quality, and effective communication skills for working in cross-functional and supplier-facing environments. /li liFluency in English. Our individual differences make us successful. /p h3Compensation Package /h3 pThe employment framework is based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level of C3/B2 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from € 31.000,00. The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender-neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
