With a workforce of over 3.500 professionals across its offices in Europe and around the world, Telespazio operates an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, offering cutting-edge solutions in Geoinformation Services, Satellite Systems and Operations, and Satellite Communications. /p pJoin us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space. /p pInside the Fucino Space Center, we are looking for a System Engineer to support the Galileo Control Center. /p h3Mission: /h3 pThe Galileo Mission Segment (GMS) of the Galileo GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) manages mission operations by computing navigation data and time corrections, while ensuring the integrity and quality of the signal through continuous monitoring of user-transmitted data. /p pThe Secure Operation Engineer operates within the GMS, carrying out a dedicated set of tasks and responsibilities. /p h3Operational Activities /h3 ul liConduct operational requirements analysis, focusing on Classified Operations. /li liAnalyze KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and identify processes and procedures to ensure compliance. /li liDevelop and maintain SOPs (Secure Operations Procedures) for managing secure ground and space segments. /li liManage and continuously monitor spaceborne cryptographic systems across the entire Galileo constellation. /li liExecute operational procedures under nominal and contingency conditions. /li liManage critical operational situations to safeguard service continuity.
/li liPerform acceptance testing for new constellation satellites post-final orbital insertion and prior to commissioning. /li liProvide 24/7 on-call support. /li /ul h3System Evolution /h3 ul liParticipate and engage in system development phases. /li liReview and analyze operational documentation. /li liValidate new systems in compliance with ECSS standards. /li liContribute to the identification and preparation of migration activities. /li liParticipate in and execute factory test campaigns for the new G2G (Galileo Second Generation) satellites. /li /ul h3Offline Activities /h3 ul liInterface with security authorities. /li liParticipate in periodic meetings regarding system evolution, planning, and anomaly management. /li /ul h3Required Technical Language Skills /h3 ul liBachelor or Master Degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Electronics, or similar; /li li0-3 years of experience in similar role /li liProficiency in English; /li liBasic knowledge of Cryptography; /li liBasic knowledge of Networking; /li liBasic knowledge of Programming; /li liGood command of Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office Suite; /li liKnowledge of Linux Operating System is highly appreciated. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liTeamwork and collaboration. /li liProblem-solving mindset. /li liStrong planning and organizational skills. /li liGood communication and interpersonal skills /li liStrong team player with good networking and leadership skills /li /ul h3Additional Requirements /h3 ul liWillingness to travel frequently abroad. /li /ul h3What We Offer: /h3 ul liOur applicable collective labor agreement is the bCCNL for the Private Metalworking Industry and Plant Installation Sector /b. /li liWorking arrangement: bHybrid /b /li liEmployment category:
