You will be the company's key point of reference for privacy and data protection, guiding the business on how to handle data responsibly as we scale. /p pIn this role, you will act as a trusted legal advisor to the business across a broad range of legal matters and you will collaborate with cross-functional departments, offering critical insights to drive our company's growth and success. /p pThe ideal candidate is a proactive, business-oriented legal professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liMaintain up-to-date knowledge of privacy laws and regulations relevant to the company's business activities (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable US state and international privacy laws), and translate legal requirements into practical guidance for the business /li liSupport the management of data subject requests and privacy incidents /li liConduct legal research, provide strategic advice on business transactions and guidance on legal issues arising from business operations /li liEffective cooperation with the external Data Protection Officer /li liOwn the development and maintenance of privacy policies, notices, and internal data governance practices /li liProactive collaboration and support on compliance processes /li liDraft and review contracts and other legal documentation /li liAssist in developing and improving company policies and procedures /li /ul h3What You Have /h3 ul liLaw degree from an accredited law school /li liBar admission in Italy is required,



admission in the United States is a plus /li liMinimum 5 years of experience at a law firm or in-house, including exposure to privacy/data protection matters /li liSolid knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR and familiarity with other international frameworks) /li liGood knowledge of technology law /li liAbility to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical advice and solutions /li liStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills /li liExcellent communication skills /li liStrong analytical and research skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments under pressure /li liFluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
