Overview
In this role you will contribute to the functional design of the Traffic Management System for a rail automation project. You will work within Hitachi Rail to ensure design documentation aligns with industry standards and project goals. You will support verification activities and requirements traceability to deliver robust signaling solutions. The position offers exposure to cross-disciplinary teams and a chance to impact rail operations through technically sound design and testing. Responsabilità
- Produce the assigned portion of functional design documentation and project activities (logic and configuration)
- Reference industry standards (e.g., CENELEC, IPC) in deliverables
- Support verification activities per the V&V; Plan and company guidelines




- Contribute to gap analysis between customer requirements and product capabilities
- Manage requirements related to functional design (traceability and verification)
- Support testing sessions and defect detection with traceability
- Contribute to system requirements, architecture, interface control, and analyses as appropriate

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical area or equivalent technical background
- 3 to 5 years of railway and/or automation experience
- Railway and/or Metro automation systems knowledge
- Automation and signaling system/subsystem architecture
- SW design techniques
- HW design techniques
- Testing techniques
- Knowledge of RAM(S), CENELEC and quality could be a plus
- Good English proficiency
