Overview As a Backend Software Engineer in the Consumer Features domain, you design, build, and operate mission-critical services that power daily app interactions. You will own features like BNPL, Gift Cards, mobile top-ups, and transfers, contributing to increased engagement and transaction volume. You'll work with Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL on an AWS-based microservices stack, while leveraging AI tools to boost engineering efficiency. Responsabilità
- Own end-to-end lifecycle of consumer features from design to production
- Develop and maintain core user functionalities (BNPL, Gift Cards, mobile top-ups, Personal IBAN/SCT transfers)




- Improve backend logic for budget mechanisms and scheduled top-ups
- Own AWS-based infrastructure and drive architectural improvements across microservices
- Leverage AI tools to write code, accelerate root cause analysis, and generate documentation
- Tackle complex, ambiguous problems with scalable, maintainable solutions
- Collaborate with Product and UX/UI teams; contribute to code reviews and refactoring
- Debug production issues and continuously improve system reliability

Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years as Backend Engineer in fast-paced environments with scalable microservices
- Strong Java & Spring Boot expertise
- Exposure to cloud (AWS a plus) and relational databases
- Focus on performance, reliability, and clean business logic
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and clear communication
- Fluency in English; passion for FinTech or startup environments
