We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Transportation Management Consultant with German to join our team and contribute to complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional SAP teams to design and implement efficient end-to-end transportation management processes. You will contribute throughout the SAP ACTIVATE lifecycle, from Fit-to-Standard and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, and readiness for deployment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Design and implement end-to-end SAP Transportation Management solutions based on business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Participate in and facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, analyze business requirements, and translate them into scalable SAP TM solutions.
- Perform Fit-Gap analyses and contribute to functional and technical solution design.




- Configure and optimize SAP TM processes across Transportation Planning and Execution, Freight Order Management, Freight Settlement, Carrier Management, Freight Tendering, Charge Calculation, and Transportation Cockpit.
- Design and document transportation processes, functional specifications, configuration decisions, and solution documentation.
- Contribute to SAP TM architecture and integration design within SAP S/4HANA transformation environments. Support integrations between SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Integration Suite, including dependencies with SAP SD, MM, Finance, and Yard Management.
- Analyze and resolve complex functional and integration-related issues across the transportation landscape.
- Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, cutover preparation, and deployment activities related to SAP TM.
- Collaborate closely with business process owners, customer IT teams, architects, developers, and other SAP functional consultants.
- Provide guidance and expertise to junior consultants and support knowledge transfer within the project team.
- Contribute to solution governance and ensure that SAP TM designs remain aligned with the overall enterprise architecture and transformation roadmap.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize transportation processes through SAP capabilities.
- Onsite travel to Germany is required on a schedule to be agreed based on project needs.





What You'll Bring Along

- Several years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) in implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.
- Strong functional expertise across transportation planning and execution, freight order management, freight settlement, carrier management, tendering, charge calculation, and the Transportation Cockpit.
- Experience designing and configuring end-to-end transportation processes within complex SAP environments.
- Good understanding of SAP TM master data, organizational structures, transportation networks, planning profiles, and execution processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management, preferably in large-scale transformation or implementation programs.
- Practical experience with the SAP ACTIVATE methodology, including Fit-to-Standard workshops, Fit-Gap analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment preparation.
- Strong integration knowledge across SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Integration Suite, including dependencies with SAP SD, MM, Finance, and Yard Management.
- Experience working with interfaces, functional specifications, integration scenarios, and cross-module dependencies.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into pragmatic and scalable SAP solutions.
- Experience working within international and cross-functional project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed project teams.
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced SAP consultants is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and advanced English and German.
