SAP R2R / Controlling Specialist (Freelance Opportunity)

? Location: Naples, Italy (Onsite - 2 to 3 days/week) ( Only candidates currently based in Italy will be considered)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP R2R / Controlling Specialist to join a major SAP environment and support Finance & Controlling processes. You will play a key role in SAP CO configuration, business support, process optimization, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support SAP Controlling (CO) processes:
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- Budget Planning & Control
- CAPEX & OPEX Management
- Project Systems (PS) & WBS Management
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Support Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), financial reporting, and margin analysis.
- Configure allocation cycles, settlements, assessments, and period-end closing activities.




- Ensure integration between SAP CO and related modules:
- SAP FI
- SAP MM
- SAP AA
- SAP BRIM
- Support testing, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements.
- Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects.

Required Skills ✅ Strong experience in SAP CO (Controlling)

✅ Hands-on experience with CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, PS, and CO-PA

✅ Knowledge of SAP FI, MM, AA, and BRIM integration

✅ Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and reporting processes

✅ Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

✅ Fluent in English and Italian
