Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP Developer role based in Padua. The SAP Developer will design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions that support core business processes across the Group’s brands, working closely with functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical implementations. Daily activities include configuring and enhancing SAP modules, developing custom programs and interfaces, supporting integrations with other enterprise systems, and troubleshooting system issues.
The role involves participating in project lifecycles from analysis through testing and deployment, preparing technical documentation,
and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize workflows and data quality. The SAP Developer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system upgrades, and adherence to best practices and security standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze and understand Business Processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Strong Software Development skills, including Programming in relevant SAP-related languages (e.g., ABAP, SQL) and familiarity with modern development practices.
- Experience with system Integration, including interfaces, APIs, and data exchange between SAP and other enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Products (e.g., SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD) and their configuration.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Experience in retail, fashion, or luxury goods environments and familiarity with IT project methodologies (e.g., Agile, waterfall) are considered a plus.
