The Financial Controlling Specialist will be part of the Southern Europe Controlling Team, playing a key role in financial controlling, planning, and internal control activities across the region’s retail entities. The role involves close collaboration with Regional Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams.

Key Accountabilities

- Manage month-end closing activities and prepare reporting packages for the Divisional Finance Department

- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including data submission, variance analysis, and commentary

- Monitor and control CapEx investments

- Prepare monthly P&L; reporting for retail entities and perform variance analysis for Regional Finance

- Support balance sheet reviews and related variance analysis

- Deliver monthly reporting for retail managers and operational functions (Facilities, Security, HR, Communications) to ensure cost control

- Assist during tax audits

- Actively contribute to statutory financial statements preparation and external audit processes

- Review accounting data to identify and resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies

- Prepare periodic turnover certificates

- Produce monthly data submissions for national statistics authorities





- Handle ad hoc financial queries and perform additional analyses as required

Key Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling within a multinational company or consulting firm

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven team-working capabilities

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools for performance and KPI monitoring

- SAP knowledge is a plus

- Retail industry experience is a plus

- Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus

Salary Package

- Gross Annual Salary: 35.000€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).

- NCBA (National Collective Bargaining Agreement): D111 PELLI E SUCCEDANEI

- Bonuses and Commissions: Annual Target Premio as per the company-level collective agreement in force, up to 20% of the Gross Annual Salary.
