The Finance Director – International Portfolio will provide senior commercial finance business partnering support to the Regional General Managers of Italy, Nordics, Middle East & Portfolios and lead a finance organisation that business partners the market teams on an operational basis.

In addition, the Finance Director also has responsibility for IMUK financial control and compliance, management accounting (supported by SSC/Hub), and demand planning.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- Successful finance professional with sound technical skills, good team management and FMCG experience.
- Qualified Accountant, likely to have at least 7 years post-qualification experience in an FMCG business.
- Proven FMCG/Supply experience
- International experience and able to travel
- Managing teams from a distance
- Senior-level experience in Business Partnering and strategy creation
- Track record of continuous personal development and achievement
- Strong intellect and possessing advanced analytical toolkit.
- Strong people leader who develops people and teams
- Highly curious, inquiring mind, keen to learn outside immediate responsibilities
- Tenacious, perseverance in the face of obstacles, seeking imaginative ways to overcome
- Able to see big picture, but equally able to give sufficient attention to detail
- Well organised and pro-active, high accountability for results and makes a difference
