Non-Key Expert – EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”
The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector, supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Non-Key Expert – EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert to support policy dialogue, institutional cooperation, programme governance and coordination between European and African stakeholders in the space sector.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree at Master’s level in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English.
- Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese will be considered an asset.
Minimum General Professional Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy and/or institutional advisory work.
Minimum Specific Professional Experience
- At least 4 years of professional experience working on EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes, including inter-institutional dialogue, steering mechanisms or programme governance. Working knowledge of EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including African Space Agency (AfSA), African Union Commission (AUC)/Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and relevant regional institutions..
