Business Analyst Junior/ Data Strategy Analyst
CRIF, a prestigious and innovative international group specializing in informational solutions, decision models, outsourcing, software, and consulting services to support banks, financial companies, insurance companies, utilities, and telecommunications companies, is seeking a Business Analyst Junior/ Data Strategy Analyst.
The person will join the Data Strategy Department and will contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the value, governance, accessibility, and effective use of data across the organisation. Working in an international and cross-functional environment, the role will support the evolution of the company’s data asset and data-driven services catalogue, the development of the data platform and its governance capabilities, and the oversight of analytical solutions embedded in products and services.
The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, business awareness, data management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
- Data assets and data-driven services catalogue development: support the collection of information related to data assets and data-driven services across the different geographies where CRIF operates, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with the defined catalogue framework.
- Catalogue maintenance and periodic update: contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the catalogue by coordinating inputs from data owners, service managers, and local stakeholders, supporting periodic updates and monitoring the quality and accuracy of the information collected.
- Data platform project support:
support the data platform project with particular attention to the definition, organization, and management of data product metadata, contributing to the improvement of metadata quality, usability, and accessibility.
- Analytical activities: supervision of evolution of the analytic solutions, including requirements definitions, performance expected, evaluation of suitable analytical techniques, evaluation of model validation results, definition of clients POC and support for generating selling and training kits. Data exploration, preparation of analyses, development of insights, and production of supporting materials for internal projects, business requests, and strategic initiatives complete the profile.
- Reporting and presentation materials: prepare summaries, dashboards, presentations, and documentation to communicate catalogue contents, data platform progress, analytical outputs, and key evidence to internal stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
- Degree Degree in science or economic/equivalent professional experience;
- 2-3 years of work experience in Banking Industry knowledge and awareness on challenges and pa
- Analytics approach to data: Python and power BI knowledge is required. The knowledge of some further analytic programmer language (i.e. SAS, SQL) is a plus
- Habit to work in international environments cooperating with different business lines and markets
- Good communication skills through power point ability and public speaking skills.
- Native-level proficiency in Italian.
- Excellent command of English.
- Knowledge of an additional language is a welcome plus.
The position is based at Bologna – Beverara, 21.
What we offer:
permanent contract The Annual Salary for this position starts from € 25.500 gross per year.
The level of classification will be determined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Tertiary, Distribution and Services sector.
The final compensation package, including any variable components (such as MBO) or additional benefits, will depend on the assessment of the candidate’s profile against the role requirements.
