The incumbent will report to the Head of Engineering or Head of Beneficiary Management Products, contributing to WFP's digital transformation.
Job purpose
The IT Solution Architect (Identity Management) will be instrumental in shaping and leading the beneficiary services agenda within WFP's Technology Division. This role involves managing a team to deliver IT solutions, providing expert recommendations on development and procurement, and conducting complex analyses to propose innovative solutions to business challenges. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders, including enterprise architecture, operations, and product management, to ensure the successful design, development, and release of critical platforms like SCOPE. and performance of IT solutions, especially in challenging environments, and contributing to strategic planning and policy development for digital capabilities.
Responsibilities
The role involves comprehensive management of IT solutions throughout their lifecycle, from initial analysis and design to procurement, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and evolution. Key responsibilities include designing software architecture and data models, ensuring high technical quality in terms of functionality, user experience, performance, and adherence to WFP standards. This includes proactive support for integration with existing corporate platforms and continuous quality assurance, encompassing security controls, testing, monitoring, and backup mechanisms.
