Junior Mobility Engineer

Systematicais is seeking a passionate and skilled Mobility Engineer to join its growing team in Milan.

The selected candidate will be actively involved in a variety of local and international projects, contributing to the development of integrated mobility solutions that shape future cities and transportation systems. Main Duties

- Undertake transport model development and application using various software packages which enables the simulation and analysis of the urban and inter-urban transport network / system and its interactions with economic, social, environmental, and land-use factors
- Implement territorial multimodal macrosimulation models, as well as both vehicular and pedestrian microsimulations and static road network assessment tools




- Develop transport planning research projects with specific focus on transport modelling, traffic assessment, ITS, freight and sustainability issues
- Extract data from transport models, analyse and produce technical reports
- Support the liaison with Clients and coordinate technical details with other project consultants

Hybrid work position with primary office location in Milan, Italy - Moscova area.

Education

University Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent

Experience

1-2 years of professional experience in Transport Modelling and Transport Planning

Skills

Essential qualifications and experience:

- Proven ability to support the development, calibration and validation of transport models
- Experience in technical report production
- Excellent communication skills and interface with clients

Desirable qualifications and experience:

- Experience in using CUBE/VISUM, PTV VISSIM, AIMSUN
- GIS experience
