Overview
In this role you will design mechanical components and systems for new products within the NPD process, from spec through SOP.
You will collaborate across disciplines to ensure feasibility, performance, and cost targets are met, driving right?first?time solutions.
You will contribute to testing, documentation, and design reviews, shaping products used by millions while advancing in a global, cross?functional environment.
This position offers hands?on design work with CAD tools, BOM management, and DFMEA within a dynamic, growth?oriented company.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze Trigger document specifications
Prepare preliminary product feasibility studies with Industrial Design and R&D;
Identify risks and issues affecting the development process
Create, manage, and maintain the Product Design Specification (PDS)
Execute CAD design for parts and layouts and maintain related documentation
Support R&D; laboratory in prototype preparation and testing
Prepare and conduct DFMEA




Prepare and maintain the preliminary technical BOM
Collaborate with R&D; and Purchasing to evaluate costs/investments
Collaborate with moulding departments to analyze manufacturing processes
Support Local R&D;, QC, and Production during Engineering Build and Pre-production
Organize and participate in technical design reviews
Prepare technical documentation on project status and next steps for reviews and NPD meetings
Requisiti fondamentali
BEng / BSc Qualified
Experience in mechanical components & systems design
Knowledge of 3D design tools (CATIA V5 / SIEMENS NX)
Knowledge of mass production product development
Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and test results evaluation
5 years of experience
Fluent in English; able to prepare clear technical documentation
Willing to travel as required by project needs
Basic knowledge of cyber security and information protection principles
