Job Summary:

The Key Account Manager, Bio will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and strategic business development across Nova Biomedical's Bio product portfolio in South Korea.

The role will manage key customers and distributors, develop and execute account and territory strategies, identify new business opportunities, and translate market and customer needs into actionable commercial plans. The Key Account Manager will work closely with Marketing, Service, and other internal teams to deliver integrated solutions across the Bio portfolio.

The position requires strong experience in direct customer engagement, key account management, distributor management, and consultative selling. Experience managing key accounts across multiple regions and selling multiple products as an integrated portfolio or bundled solution is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline, generate new leads and opportunities, and drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying underserved customer segments, geographic areas, applications, and untapped markets.
- Drive portfolio-based and solution-oriented selling by identifying customer needs and positioning multiple products as integrated or bundled solutions.
- Expand business within existing accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and introduction of additional products across the Bio portfolio.
- Develop and activate new regional channels and dealer/distributor opportunities to expand market coverage.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and directly manage key accounts to understand business needs, purchasing processes, technical requirements, and future opportunities.
- Develop account plans and long-term growth strategies for key customers and prioritize resources and activities based on business potential.
- Manage assigned territories and regions, ensuring effective market coverage and balanced resource allocation.
- Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, presentations, demonstrations, and other customer engagement activities to develop and close opportunities.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address customer concerns and complaints in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
- Manage existing distributors against agreed sales targets and KPIs and establish action plans to improve business performance.
- Guide and coach distributors on product positioning, portfolio selling, opportunity development, and go-to-market activities.
- Monitor distributor pipeline, field activities, inventory levels, and business performance and develop corrective or backup plans when required.
- Identify gaps in distributor coverage and develop strategies to strengthen regional and segment-specific channel capabilities.
- Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and provide timely updates on pipeline, risks,



opportunities, and expected business results.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, customer requirements, and industry developments and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Provide relevant market intelligence and customer feedback to Marketing and other internal teams to support go-to-market planning and portfolio strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Service, and other internal teams to develop and execute customer-specific and market-specific business strategies.
- Coordinate technical, service, marketing, and commercial resources to deliver comprehensive solutions to key customers and distributors.
- Support exhibitions, seminars, customer events, product demonstrations, and other commercial activities as required.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and competitive awareness to effectively position Nova Biomedical's Bio portfolio against competing solutions.

Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the Bio industry, biopharmaceutical industry, life science, laboratory instruments, or a related field.
- Proven experience in direct sales and/or key account management, preferably with direct ownership of strategic customer accounts.
- Experience managing customers and business opportunities across multiple regions or territories is highly preferred.
- Experience managing key accounts directly, including account planning, stakeholder management, opportunity development, and commercial negotiations, is highly preferred.
- Experience selling multiple products or solutions as a portfolio, including cross-selling, upselling, and bundled/solution-based sales, is highly preferred.
- Experience working with biopharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, research organizations, or other Bio industry customers is preferred.
- Experience managing distributors and developing channel business is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate customer needs and market insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused, solution-oriented, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent in Korean and proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems; Salesforce is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

- Frequent domestic travel throughout South Korea is required (50% or more).
- Ability to conduct customer and distributor visits, business meetings, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and other field-based commercial activities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds as required.




- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).
- Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment.
- Ability to use standard office equipment and business software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven commercial environment.
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
