Job purpose: The IT Network Consultant will provide senior expertise to support WFP's global network, voice, and video collaboration services. This role is crucial for transitioning from legacy PBX infrastructure to modern Unified Communications and will act as a technical lead for enterprise video conferencing services. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining resilient enterprise network connectivity, optimizing performance across various environments, and providing guidance on network security. Key responsibilities include managing network technologies such as LAN, WAN, wireless, satellite, and SD-WAN, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms,
and supporting capacity planning through telemetry and analytics. The consultant will also play a vital role in vendor management and producing essential technical documentation to enhance operational readiness and service improvement.
