Overview

In this role you will verify and validate IXL functionalities for railway traffic management, shaping testing strategies across lab and on-site environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure software and data meet Alstom standards and contribute to system acceptance activities. The position offers field exposure in Italy and collaboration on international projects within a leader in integrated transport systems. You will drive quality through structured testing, reporting, and validation of customer configurations.

Responsabilità

- Define and execute test plans for IXL functionalities
- Identify tests for laboratory and on-site execution
- Conduct SW/data testing sessions and coordinate with other testing engineers
- Apply V&V; methods and change/configuration management per Alstom standards




- Run tests and deliver acceptance test reports
- Support Testing & Commissioning during system acceptance
- Assist with customer acceptance activities (lab configuration, tests, on-site support)

Requisiti fondamentali

- University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, Telecom or equivalent
- Strong team-oriented mindset
- Availability for weekly field activities in Italy
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Software development skill is a plus
