Overview

As a Junior Test Engineer in the Rolling Stock Engineering Department, you will support calibration, testing, and lab operations to verify HVAC and related systems. You will collaborate with design, purchasing, and lab teams to ensure test procedures meet international standards, contributing to the lab’s quality system and customer interfaces. This role offers hands-on instrumentation work, data analysis, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced setting. You will help shape reliable lab processes and testing in a global technology environment.

Responsabilità

- Manage the calibration and certification cycle for laboratory instruments (e.g., PT100 sensors)
- Maintain calibration certificate expiry schedules for all lab instruments
- Support analysis of test specifications from Design Department for HVAC Testing
- Assist in designing equipment necessary for proper test execution
- Prepare technical documents for purchasing test equipment
- Develop test procedures according to Test Specifications and applicable standards




- Support Lab Team Specialists in Test Bench setup
- Execute test campaigns with the Test Team
- Analyze test data per specifications and standards
- Prepare test reports
- Oversee laboratory instrumentation and equipment management
- Support Lab Manager/Senior Test Engineer in interfacing with customers, suppliers, and quality organizations
- Assist in developing the Lab Quality System

Requisiti fondamentali

- Knowledge of instrument calibration processes and procedures
- Strong interest and aptitude in experimental activities
- Good ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, . Net, C#, Python)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and databases such as MS Access and SQL Server
- Minimum 1–2 years of field engineering experience
- Availability for national and international business trips
