Position:

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our Services Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience building AI-powered tooling on top of a large-scale music catalog, working with real production data and modern cloud infrastructure.



You'll help design and build an MCP-based (Model Context Protocol) ecosystem that gives our Operations team an AI-assisted toolchain for data investigation, metadata auditing, anomaly detection, and automated reporting, learning how production environments and agentic systems actually work. This is an extracurricular internship (tirocinio extracurriculare) lasting 6 months, with a monthly reimbursement of €800.

Responsibilities:

Explore and map the Recording music catalog architecture, spanning relational data (MySQL/Aurora) and non-relational document stores (DynamoDB)
Build specialized MCP servers, skills, and tools exposing catalog data, resources, and prompt templates to AI agents
Implement operations guardrails such as access controls, read-only permissions, rate limiting, and query execution safeguards, so agents can query live stores without compromising production stability
