Overview

Senior Accountant based in Milan to support the French entities of a multinational group. You will handle day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, collaborating with local advisors and auditors. The role emphasize process improvements, internal controls, and cross-border finance activities within a European team. Responsabilità

- Manage day-to-day accounting for the Group's French entities
- Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables
- Support cash management, payments and financial reporting
- Maintain and review financial records including fixed assets and payroll postings
- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Manage VAT returns and statutory tax reporting with local advisors




- Liaise with external auditors and resolve accounting matters
- Contribute to process improvements, internal controls and finance projects
- Provide operational support for meetings and corporate activities

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting
- Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus
- Knowledge of French GAAP and local accounting/tax regulations is preferred but not mandatory
