One component is a “ bsensor /b ”, which is a driver installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The bcloud component /b aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines and presents our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments. /p pJoin CrowdStrike and become a key leader in building the most innovative endpoint security solution in the world. Our sensor development team is responsible for bbuilding the endpoint sensor /b which deploys on multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, and Linux. As a bSenior II Software Engineer /b , you will be expected to have bownership over major components /b and development projects. /p pYou will be required to assist with barchitecting solutions /b and support in implementing our core features. Features will cross-cut most core OS subsystems such as bfile system, memory and process, and networking.



/b /p pMany features are also built in a way that they will have shared components across multiple platforms. /p pYou need to be able bto lead /b projects efficiently while maximizing performance and minimizing costs, making sure high standards are being followed when it comes to design, coding quality, and unit and component testing. /p pLocation: The role is open remotely in Romania, UK, Ireland, Denmark. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liProvide partnership in the bwindows kernel mode sensor development /b team involved in architecture, strategy, in building and improving next-generation Anti-Virus and Enhanced. /li liDetection and Response Security Software. /li liDevelop new product concepts. /li liSupport development teams in designing and building software with cross-platform deliverables (Windows, Mac, Linux). /li liOwn features from design to delivery including participation in product demo at the end of the sprint. /li liCollaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations. /li /ul h3What You’ll Need /h3 ul liIn depth knowledge with C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development. /li liStrong low-level OS internals in either Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. /li liExperience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance. /li liExperience working with teams to ship major features and releases. /li liLead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team. /li /ul h3Preferred Requirements /h3 ul liOS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, file systems etc. /li liKnowledge in Security. /li liStrong background in scalable, light-weight and highly performing systems. /li liFamiliarity and experience with Agile process.
