Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future. /p h3Partner with the best /h3 pAs Senior Infrastructure Configuration Engineer, you will: /p ul liCollaborate with Systems Engineers, Design Engineers and Product Owners to collect, consolidate, and translate product and design inputs into Product and Project Infrastructure templates, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Project Documentation, Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Engineering Roles and Budget templates, ensuring continuity from new product development through project execution, according to workload fluctuations and business priorities. /li liOwn and govern the QCP templates for Florence core products and the PM portfolio within TPS Teamcenter PLM, ensuring creation, update, validation, and continuous maintenance of the template structure. Relevant Engineering Subject Matter Experts remain accountable for the equipment-specific requirements and technical content. /li liEvaluate, define, integrate, and continuously improve configuration rules to enable newly developed products to be implemented in Product Configurators, promoting reuse of parts and systems, efficiency, and cost-competitive supply chain strategies. /li liEnsure timely generation, accuracy, and consistency of project-specific BOMs and PDOCs in accordance with applicable procedures and Work Instructions, supporting requisition and execution phases, when required to address workload fluctuations and business priorities. /li liEstablish, maintain, and govern infrastructure configuration baselines throughout the product and project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and alignment across engineering, quality, and execution domains. /li liLead the analysis of feedback and lessons learned from requisition project execution to identify recurring gaps, systemic issues, and improvement opportunities, driving sustainable enhancements to the applicable Engineering templates and related governance processes. /li liDrive continuous improvement across infrastructure definition processes, tools, and methodologies, contributing to Baker Hughes’ digital transformation and operational excellence objectives. /li liLead change-management activities related to engineering infrastructure templates and configuration processes, providing senior technical guidance, driving impact assessments, and ensuring that changes are consistently evaluated, documented, aligned with stakeholders, and implemented in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and Work Instructions. /li liOwn, develop, and maintain Work Instructions, Procedures, and standards to formalize and standardize infrastructure definition and configuration management processes.
/li liSupport strategic business projects and initiatives, within the Infrastructure team and within the broader engineering organization when multidisciplinary coordination is required, aimed at modernizing infrastructure tools and processes, including the transition from a document-centric approach toward a Model-Based Enterprise. /li liProvide clear and regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders on progress, risks, achievements, and impacts related to infrastructure deployment, project execution, and strategic business projects and initiatives. /li liDevelop action plans to address technical, process, or execution issues, ensuring timely escalation, risk mitigation, and alignment with business priorities. /li liProvide technical guidance to personnel and cross-functional teams, supporting alignment, issue resolution, and successful outcomes. /li liPresent or participate in technical, program, and design reviews, ensuring infrastructure configuration aspects, risks, and requirements are clearly addressed and aligned with project and business needs. /li liLead and coordinate external providers in the implementation of infrastructure solutions within company IT and PLM tools, ensuring alignment with Baker Hughes governance and standards. /li liCollaborate as part of one team across functions, applying a systems-thinking approach, transparency, and shared accountability to deliver high-quality results. /li /ul h3Fuel your passion /h3 pTo be successful in this role you will have: /p ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or equivalent) from an accredited University or College. /li liSolid knowledge of Baker Hughes products and systems portfolio (or ability to rapidly acquire it). /li liHands‑on experience with PLM systems and structured management of Bills of Material (BOM), configuration rules, and engineering documentation. /li liPrevious experience in Systems Engineering and/or Configuration Management is preferred. /li liStrong analytical mindset and proven capability in structured problem solving, risk management, process improvement, and development of action plans to address issues or business needs. /li liAbility to work autonomously while effectively contributing within cross-functional and cross-discipline teams, applying technical and business knowledge to support successful project and organizational outcomes. /li liDemonstrated resilience and flexibility, with the ability to manage priorities in dynamic environments and translate engineering activities into business value and financial impact. /li liClear thinker with entrepreneurial mindset, openness to change, and willingness to challenge the status quo with a spirit of innovation.
