Galileo Green Energy

Milano

Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator, currently in the very dynamic start-up phase. Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 17 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across nine markets in Europe.

We are looking for our new Compliance Manager to play a critical role in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical practices across the Galileo group. This person will be based in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the General Counsel.

What you’ll do

- Support the ongoing implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s compliance framework, policies and procedures, proposing updates or new initiatives where appropriate.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compliance controls and processes, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend pragmatic solutions to enhance efficiency and consistency across the organization.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement and independently manage follow-up actions and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, operations, and project management, to integrate compliance considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, and proactively advise senior management on potential impacts and opportunities.
- Coordinate and deliver existing compliance training programs and, where needed, develop additional training or awareness initiatives to address emerging risks or business needs.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for our shareholders, plus for regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders on compliance-related matters, in coordination with the General Counsel where appropriate.
- Support internal investigations into potential compliance breaches or concerns, including gathering information, coordinating relevant stakeholders,

documenting findings and monitoring the implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, board of directors and relevant stakeholders highlighting key compliance metrics, initiatives, and challenges.
- Support the General Counsel on sustainability and ESG topics, including governance framework design, the update of group policies and procedures, and ESG reporting towards investors.
- Stay abreast of emerging compliance frameworks and technologies, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

What you'll need:
- Master degree in law; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in compliance management, preferably within the renewable energy industry or a closely related sector.
- Good understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, such as environmental regulations, energy policies, and corporate governance requirements.
- Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining compliance programs, policies, procedures, risk assessments and controls within a complex or international organization.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify compliance risks and develop pragmatic solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Sound judgment and integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools,

including compliance management systems and data analytics platforms, is a plus.
- Very fluent Italian and English; knowledge of other European languages considered a plus.
- Team player, with cultural awareness and curiosity, willing to work with other functions and members of the Legal & Compliance team on joint initiatives.
- A desire and a passion to contribute to the energy transition with a pan-European focus by joining a company looking to develop renewable projects across different markets.

Benefits

What we offer:
- Competitive compensation: 75,000 – 85,000 € gross annual total compensation package, composed of fixed gross annual salary (RAL) and annual performance premio, based on experience, skills and role responsibilities.
- Collective agreement: Quadro CCNL Commercio.

- Flexibility: a hybrid remote-working policy designed for autonomy and outcomes — plus a strong Diversity & Inclusion focus to support different needs and life situations.
