Overview

In this role you design and implement Physical Security Systems for rail projects, ensuring time, quality, and cost targets across tenders and projects. You work closely with customers and internal teams to translate specifications into concrete designs, interfaces, and test plans. You lead commissioning activities and support training for safe operation. Responsabilità

- Analyze and decompose customer security specifications into clear requirements
- Identify gaps between customer needs and company products
- Create requirement and design documents with traceability
- Manage Physical Security interfaces and design deliverables
- Lead onsite commissioning, acceptance testing, and testing protocols
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and punch lists
- Provide technical interface to customers and stakeholders throughout project life cycle
- Develop training materials and handover packages for O&M; teams
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing learnings and problem-solving knowledge
- Maintain administrative duties including reports, issue tracking, and safety/quality compliance

- Propose simple, efficient solutions aligned with customer needs

Requisiti fondamentali

- Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, PSIM, and related interfaces in railway contexts
- Understanding of protection concepts for personnel, hardware, networks, and data
- Experience with CCTV standards and encoding/decoding, video analytics, and interface with PSIM
- Experience with Intrusion and Access Control, perimeter IDS, and biometric identification
- Design and integration of CCTV/ACS/IDS/PSIM in railway environments
- Experience with commissioning and testing, site surveys, and fault troubleshooting
- Railway signaling knowledge and general railway engineering concepts
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet/TCP-IP/Modbus, safety standards, and SCADA
- Willingness to travel and work on-site; Italian and English fluency
