Established in 2023, The Gate Golf Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to golf and creating a lasting impact on the Southwest Florida community. Scheduled to open in late 2026, The Gate will feature:
- Oakwood Grill - 175-seat freestanding full-service restaurant
- The Pavilion Bar
- The Gimme - quick service restaurant
- The Bays 30-bay state-of-the-art practice range with Trackman technology
- The Gater 18-hole putting course
- Jacobsen-Hardy designed 9-hole regulation-length golf course

The Gate is designed to make golf more accessible to families and players of all skill levels, while providing high-quality golf and hospitality experiences at affordable rates.

Position Overview
The server is responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service to guests throughout their dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.



The server will accurately take and enter orders, deliver food and beverages, anticipate guest needs, maintain a clean and organized service area, and ensure that each guest receives a welcoming and memorable experience. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, team oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Accurately explain menu items, ingredients, daily specials, and beverage options while answering guest questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the point-of-sale system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and according to the presentation and service standards.
- Monitor tables throughout the meal, anticipate guest needs, and provide timely refills, additional items, and assistance.
