Established in 2023, The Gate Golf Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to golf and creating a lasting impact on the Southwest Florida community. Scheduled to open in late 2026, The Gate will feature:
- Oakwood Grill - 175-seat freestanding full-service restaurant
- The Pavilion Bar
- The Gimme - quick service restaurant
- The Bays - 30-bay state-of-the-art practice range with Trackman technology
- The Gater 18-hole putting course
- Jacobsen-Hardy designed 9-hole regulation-length golf course

Position Overview
The Gate Golf Club is looking for dependable and dedicated Stewards to join our kitchen team and play an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

As a Steward, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring that dishes, cookware, equipment, and work areas are clean and properly sanitized.



Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety will help maintain a safe, efficient environment where our culinary team can focus on creating great food for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manual cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient prep when needed
- Safely lift and handle pots, pans, trays, dishware, and other kitchen items
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, floors, storage areas, and other work spaces
