Job Description
Hitachi Rail is looking for a motivated and self-driven Site Supervisor who can thrive in a dynamic environment. The role is based in Genova with availability for business travel across Italy. The SITE SUPERVISOR is the key figure responsible for organizing, managing, and operationally coordinating a construction site, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, project specifications, and above all, safety and environmental regulations.



This role acts as the technical and organizational point of reference among contractors, workers, site management, and the client, overseeing materials, personnel, and resolving critical issues.
Accountabilities
Planning and Organization
Responsible for site setup, workflow planning, process management, weekly, monthly, and quarterly scheduling, allocation of equipment and machinery, and reporting.
Coordination
Supervises personnel and subcontractors, ensuring integration and safety.
Safety (Legislative Decree 81/08)
Ensures compliance with the Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC) and the Operational Safety Plan (POS) by all companies, monitors the use of safety devices, and implements preventive measures. Acts as an interface with the Safety Coordinator (CSE).
Technical and Contractual Management
Liaises with the Site Manager, monitors execution according to project specifications, manages relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, prepares schedules and re
