Cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers
Manage and nurture key customer relationships to maximize satisfaction and retention
Use data insights, customer intent, and adoption history to prospect clients and improve retention, conversion, and expansion
Create quarterly territory plans and actionable tactics to increase market share
Align Zendesk products with clients' business objectives to secure product expansion and customer satisfaction
Lead complex, value-centric sales cycles, including multi-month deals and proof-of-concept stages
Build a qualified opportunity pipeline and maintain accurate sales forecasts
Establish and maintain C-level executive sponsorship
Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to optimize sales strategies and execution
Negotiate and close complex deals using consultative sales approaches and compelling business cases
Maintain knowledge of Zendesk solutions, competitors, and industry trends
Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud/software B2B, AI sales, or solution engineering
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quota achievement
Expertise in complex sales cycles and renewals, including multi-month, value-centric processes with proof of concept stages
History of successfully selling to C-level executives
Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities
Experience creating and leveraging territory and account plans
Entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative mindset, and drive for personal and professional growth
Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, Seismic, and Looker
Ability to travel to customer locations
Italian and English language
