Non-Key Expert – EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”
The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector , supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Non-Key Expert – EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert to support policy dialogue, institutional cooperation, programme governance and coordination between European and African stakeholders in the space sector.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
University degree at Master’s level in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy , or a related field.
Excellent command of English .
Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese will be considered an asset.
Minimum General Professional Experience:
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy and/or institutional advisory work .
Minimum Specific Professional Experience
At least 4 years of professional experience working on EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes , including inter-institutional dialogue, steering mechanisms or programme governance. Working knowledge of EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including African Space Agency (AfSA) , African Union Commission (AUC) / Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and relevant regional institutions..
