Supplier Capacity Development Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and deploy a standardized external supplier capacity development approach across ELDS MV Switchgear Business Line (BL) factories. You will drive the identification, prioritization, assessment and development of critical external suppliers to grow capacity and meet ELDS MV Switchgear mid/long-term external material needs.

The Supplier Capacity Development

Manager will drive BL-wide methodology development, supports in-factory implementation and leads cross-factory coordination, working closely with quality, procurement, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/remote and Global, preferred area Europe.

This role is contributing to the Strategy & capacity Ramp-up function of the Global Business Line Switchgear.

You will join the Business Line Switchgear Strategy & Ramp-up team, and you will report to the Capacity Ramp-up Lead.

Responsibilities

- Develops and standardizes ELDS MV Switchgear approach to identify, prioritize, assess and develop external suppliers, factoring individual supplier risk profiles and alternative sourcing potential across ELDS MV Switchgear factories.




- Leads the identification and prioritization of critical external suppliers using a multi-criteria framework considering supplier risk profile (e.g., operational performance, financial stability, capacity risk) and alternative sourcing potential (e.g., sourcing alternatives, substitution lead time, technical complexity).
- Develops and maintains a tailored external supplier assessment and development methodology, including various tools such as supplier self-assessment survey or supplier "on-site audit" playbook.
- Orchestrates end-to-end roll-out across ELDS MV Switchgear factories to ensure consistent methodology implementation, knowledge sharing, and best practice dissemination, mobilizing internal (and if/when required external) resources.
- Actively supports factory teams in implementing the methodology in their own supply chain to assess the readiness of their external supplier basis and create supplier development roadmaps, anchored on specific milestones, to meet growing ELDS MV Switchgear factory component needs.
- Leads cross-factory coordination, including global suppliers engagements.
- Develops and implements methodology (including KPIs) to consolidate key findings and supplier development roadmaps, track implementation progress of supplier roadmaps, and confirm readiness of ELDS MV Switchgear external supplier basis to ramp-up capacity.
- Ensures regular communication and alignment with relevant ELDS MV Switchgear organizations/functions (factories, procurement, supply chain, quality teams).
- Identifies, escalates and drives resolutions of critical BL-wide external supplier capacity risks that could threaten supply continuity.
- Develops and maintains training materials and guidance documentation for factory teams.
- Drives continuous improvement of capacity evaluation methodology based on lessons learned and evolving business needs.

COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP
- Coordinates effectively across multiple factories and functions to drive consistent implementation of capacity evaluation and development methodology.
- Partners with factory operations, quality, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and integration of capacity initiatives.
- Builds strong relationships with external suppliers as a trusted advisor.
- Ensures transparent communication and stakeholder alignment through reporting and progress reviews.
- Leads cross-functional working groups and project teams for capacity initiatives.
- Coaches factory teams and stakeholders on methodology and best practices.
- Manages relationships with external support providers and auditors to optimize resources.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management with deep knowledge of supplier dynamics, sourcing strategies, and capacity risk assessment.
- Proven experience in complex multinational environments, managing multi-country projects, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, capable of interpreting complex datasets and developing KPIs for senior stakeholders.
- Experience in process development and standardization, including methodology and tools deployment.
- Expertise in project management and cross-functional coordination in matrix organizations.
- Background in quality and compliance management, familiar with audits and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge in operations and capacity planning with manufacturing environment experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation skills, and problem-solving mindset.
