Overview
In this role you will design wiring systems for a cross-brand platform in vehicle electronics, delivering modular, scalable electrical solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure wiring harness layouts meet performance, safety, and quality targets. The position emphasizes robust power distribution, signal routing, and protection concepts to support adoptions across brands. You will be at the core of enabling next-generation automotive electrical architectures with a focus on reliability and integration.
Responsabilità
Design of Wiring Systems
Create schematics and 2D/3D layouts of wiring harnesses
Define how electrical signals and power are routed between ECUs, sensors, actuators, HMIs
Ensure correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation
Requisiti fondamentali
Understanding of:



voltage, current, power distribution
Knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Ability to calculate wire sizing and voltage drop
Ensure correct fusing and protection concepts
General knowledge of electrical fundamentals
Wiring systems and circuit design
Power distribution concepts (fusing, grounding)
Basic understanding of EMC/EMI principles
Signal integrity concepts for ADAS/HPC
Wiring system design
Schematics and 2D/3D wiring harness layouts
