/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop should-cost calculations for automotive components using bottom-up costing methodologies.
/li liSupport Design-to-Cost (DTC) activities during vehicle development programs.
/li liAnalyze variable costs, tooling costs, and manufacturing feasibility for new and modified components.
/li liProvide technical cost insights to support sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
/li liConduct gap analysis of supplier quotations and cost breakdowns.
/li liEvaluate engineering changes and identify cost drivers for both variable and tooling costs.
/li liDrive cost reduction initiatives through benchmarking, process optimization, and standardization.
/li liCollaborate with engineering, purchasing, suppliers, and global cost engineering teams.
/li liVisit suppliers to assess manufacturing processes and identify best practices.
/li /ul h3Required Skills Experience /h3 ul liExperience in manufacturing, production, quality, process engineering, costing, or cost engineering.




/li liStrong expertise in steel/aluminum stamping and welding processes.
/li liKnowledge of Progressive, Transfer, and Tandem Press operations.
/li liUnderstanding of welding line industrialization, spot welding, and welding seam design.
/li liExperience supporting supplier negotiations with cost analysis.
/li liAutomotive manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
/li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
/li liExperience in developing EDD, variable costs, and tooling costs for automotive components.
/li liProficiency in NX and Teamcenter.
/li liAdvanced Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business is advantageous.
