Overview
As a Technical Lead, you guide complex projects across multiple focus areas, from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You'll shape proposals, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor staff while upholding SEL values and world-class manufacturing principles. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on design, studies, and commissioning in a global, travel?heavy environment. You will drive impactful solutions in protection, automation, and system integration.
Responsabilità
Act as technical lead across multiple projects and focus areas, guiding concept, design, development, and support
Identify and prepare compelling proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems
Lead project teams to address customer concerns and enhance satisfaction
Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets
Mentor and develop professional staff; may supervise as needed
Model and apply SEL values, operations principles, and World Class Manufacturing principles
Understand, Create, Simplify
Perform other duties as assigned
Requisiti fondamentali
B.S.



in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
8+ years of relevant application experience with electric power systems or industrial automation
Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration and automation and communications applications
Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system design, studies, ICT, and protective relay applications
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%
Proven ability to lead and supervise project teams
Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check satisfactory to SEL
